Having practised as a workplace psychologist for over a decade, Jenny has gained a wealth of experience in counselling and coaching individuals to realise their full potential in both their personal and professional lives. Jenny has always had a passion for guiding and supporting people’s wellness, and mental wellbeing. She spent almost 20 years working as a registered nurse, midwife and baby health consultant, often helping people to successfully navigate grief and loss, life changes, stress, depression, anxiety, lack of confidence, relationship and parenting issues. Jenny is also a mother, partner, friend and the proud owner of laugh lines.
Jenny offers you a safe place to express your private thoughts and feelings. She enjoys working closely with you to not only address your current concerns but to equip you with skills and effective strategies that will allow you to bounce back from future difficulties and challenges. Jenny is committed to helping you discover your real self and your inner strengths. Her positive approach will refresh you and give you courage to move in the direction where you see yourself in the future.
Jenny’s therapeutic techniques are flexible, accommodating, and respectful of your personal needs and comfort. She incorporates techniques from a variety of evidence-based sources rather than relying on a single system of intervention. She particularly embraces acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness techniques, solution focused therapy, positive psychology and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Jenny is a friendly and perceptive therapist who offers a warm, non-judgemental and supportive environment in which you can comfortably communicate, gain insight, and develop new skills. She listens to what you say and what you feel in order to help you clarify your concerns, confront barriers to your success and wellbeing, and confidently reach your goals.
