Sam has a diverse background working as a student counsellor, a psychologist, and a research field worker.
Sam has spent much of his working career within the university setting as a student counsellor. He has also worked as a psychologist in private practice and as a research field worker in the School of Psychology and Social Work at QUT. Sam is a professional member of the Association for Contextual and Behavioural Science and likes to update his professional skills and knowledge by attending regular continuing professional development training.
The most meaningful part of Sam's work as a psychologist is learning about people’s lives from the unbearably painful periods to post traumatic growth.
When Sam isn't working he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing music, watching British crime dramas, reading novels and bushwalking.
