Helen recognises that both the mind and body have an inherent capacity to heal. Walking alongside clients as they navigate challenges and rediscover purpose and joy is a privilege that brings a strong sense of meaning to her work.
First Two Sessions Bulk Billed
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. To make it easier, the first two sessions are fully bulk billed for clients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan and Medicare card.

This means:
- No out-of-pocket cost for your first two appointments
- Time to assess your needs and determine fit
- A clear plan for ongoing support
- After the first two sessions, standard fees apply in line with Medicare rebate arrangements.

If you’re unsure whether you’re eligible, please get in touch and we can guide you through the process.
Background
With over 10 years of clinical experience across public and private settings, Helen is a registered psychologist who holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours from the University of Queensland and a Master of Professional Psychology from the University of Southern Queensland.

Her work focuses on adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and addiction. Drawing on evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, and EMDR, she tailors treatment to each individual’s needs.
Central to her practice is the therapeutic relationship. Creating a space that feels warm, safe, and respectful allows clients to feel genuinely heard and understood. This foundation supports meaningful change and helps people build lives that feel purposeful and fulfilling.

What to expect at your first session
The first session is welcoming and collaborative, with a focus on understanding what has brought you to therapy and what you would like to change or improve.

Together, you will begin building a foundation of trust and shared understanding. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. The initial session is simply a starting point, a safe space to explore what matters most and how therapy can support you moving forward.
